Collegiate Fellowship Program College students no longer have to feel alone when they are transitioning from home life to college life. The IPYPU is now facilitating student and ministry networks through the Collegiate Fellowship Program, where students can be connected to churches and others faith-based students in and surrounding their campuses. The IPYPU’s Collegiate Fellowship Program is a Jesus centered web-based resource designed to serve a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students across the country that seek glorify Christ as lights on every campus. The program seeks to connect students to local ministries, connect students to other Christian students, connect students to diverse social and special interest groups, and equip students with the knowledge and resources to openly share the love of Jesus throughout their campus. Getting Connected: Student will be able to access a growing database of local assemblies for weekly services, bible studies, and programs. In cases where churches are located outside the parameters of public transportation, churches will be encouraged to provide transportation to and from a specified campus location. Register and get connected today! Staying Connected: Registered students will be contacted quarterly by regional delegates to answer any questions or address any concerns. A Satisfaction Survey will also be available to help redefine the program to make it more efficient and accomodating. Connecting Others: The American university is also where most of our society's philosophical, political, economic, and moral values are shaped. Whether a new moral philosophy or a new economic theory, its origin is usually found in the university. Most students finalize their philosophy of life and their lifestyle while they are in college. Before entering college, students are influenced by parents and friends. During college, students are open to new ideas and influences. For most, the value choices they make in college will stay with them. Following college, it gets harder to change those values. Almost every future leader of the United States will pass through the corridors of an American university, along with many future world leaders. This truth provides every Christian student with an opportunity to be the life-changing influence of their peers… |
