Ministerial/Business Biography (recommended)

Christopher D. Collier was born on February 5, 1974 to the parents of William and Shirley Collier. He was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. Elder Collier attended Bethesda Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith Inc., where the pastor is Bishop James A. Johnson. At an early age, Elder Collier was baptized at the age of 6 and received the Holy Ghost at the age of 7. From then on, Elder Collier was very active in the church; he was an usher, organ player, saxophone player, and choir director. He was also very active in his state council, Midwestern District Council.

What do you know about the IPYPU? The IPYPU is a body of young people that grown from a faithful few into a great and powerful unit of saved and sanctified youth that are looking to impact and change the flow of the world. It's legacy of power, anointing, and Christ sensitive leadership, has served the body of Christ with services, conferences, programs and platforms that are designed to elevate and perfect each member's gift and divinely appointed purpose. The IPYPU is a body of young people that is committed to carry the flame of truth; there is only ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, and ONE BAPTISM!
Why do you want to serve as an officer of the IPYPU? I admonish God and His people; therefore I am enriched by serving them. The Lord, established by the electoral body, has already elevated me to the highest office of the IPYPU and I am excited to continue doing the will of the Lord. The baton has already been passed and God has bless the IPYPU with success; I desire and am committed to fulfill the task that the Lord has given me, this season of leaders, along with the faithful workers of the IPYPU body.
What do you find most attractive about your position of candidacy? Being a President is hard work, but when I see smiles on the faces of the Saints, when I see the Holy Ghost come into services and shack us into change, when I hear the testimonies from those participating in our programs, and when more people are excited to get involved because they have heard of our progression, I am assured that the reward is greater than the cost. The on unattractive factor is that I know I cannot satisfy everybody, but with God on my side, I know He will empower me to satisfy and benefit the majority.
Why should the IPYPU elect you? I have already set a precedent of getting things done, such as re-establishing a mid-year conference and establishing regional conferences. I believe that my professional skills, spiritual gifts and personal interests, combined with a work ethic that demands acquiring results, makes me valuable.
What are your long-range goals for the IPYPU? In looking forward, I would like to see a IPYPU sponsored College Tour, increased attendance at Regional Conferences, IPYPU events cataloged with live CD/DVD recordings, and regularly host outdoor services increase evangelism efforts.

The 2010-2014 Elections for the Officers of the IPYPU are being organized by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. and will be held Thursday and Friday, August 12-13, 2010 in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Summer National Convention.
