What do you know about the IPYPU? The IPYPU to me has always been about giving young people a forum that focuses on strengthening the youth in our walk with God as well as preparing us for ministry in the kingdom. It also teaches us how to serve and operate efficiently and effectively so when the torch is past we have the tools we need to take over the mantle.
Why do you want to serve as an officer of the IPYPU? I have served for many years on the council level and I have thoroughly enjoyed my years of service, so making the choice to work as an IPYPU officer gives me the opportunity to work on a broader scale. I grew up in the PAW and it is a complete honor to be able to follow behind the multiple legacies that have been built before me.
What do you find most attractive about your position of candidacy? Working with the greatest organization along with a great group of people.
Why should the IPYPU elect you? I should be elected because God has put me in a position to work under some great leaders. I have been able to learn and grow in many different ways and positions. I currently serve on the IPYPU Teen Staff as an administrator as well as on the secretarial staff in my council so I am equipped.
What are your long-range goals for the IPYPU? My goal is to help someone else realize you’re never too young to work in the house of the Lord. I hope through our work with the IPYPU people will realize they don’t have to be ashamed of who they are in Christ. Everyone young and old alike can be free, happy, and have fun serving God. I also pray the IPYPU continues to be a footstool for raising and training great leaders, preachers, teachers, and administrators.
